Well, it did. There are a plethora of things I recommend to combat insomnia after getting that heart rate up too late at night.

So, the conspiracy theories are thick on the ground in the news this week- but LiveScience reports that the polar vortex is swirling *backwards* after a major reversal event. I wonder if anyone reads my science blurbs or captions or if yall just look at the photos.

It is completely normal, as we age; the eye's ability to focus becomes weaker. This is called Presbyopia and will continue to develop over time. The average reading glasses age varies, but most people find they need them once they've hit middle age. THAT MEANS, after 40 you will probably wonder why you keep moving things further back to read things. However, a good eye doctor can help and I have cataract testing in May.

Sleep Disruption: Changes to the sleep cycle can be more pronounced in people over 50, leading to difficulties in falling asleep or staying asleep as their internal clocks adjust to the new schedule. 2. Increased Health Risks: The abrupt change in time can exacerbate heart conditions and increase the risk of stroke due to disturbed sleep patterns and potential stress on the body. 3. Mood Changes: The adjustment to daylight saving time can affect mood, leading to increased irritability, anxiety, or depression, particularly in those who may already be prone to mood disorders. 4. Medication Timing: For those on strict medication schedules, the one-hour shift can affect the timing and effectiveness of their medications, necessitating adjustments to maintain consistency. 5. Physical Activity: The change in daylight hours can impact the timing and motivation for physical activity, either positively by encouraging more evening activities due to extended daylight or negatively by disrupting morning routines.
