The whole of Amsterdam turned into this sea of orange — everyone was out, singing, dancing, selling little trinkets on the street. It wasn’t at all what I imagined — it wasn’t formal or grand, it was joyful and completely mad. I ended up on a little boat crammed with people I’d never met, music blaring, confetti everywhere… I felt like I’d wandered into a children’s storybook where all the rules had been tossed out the window. Absolutely marvellous — I’ve never seen anything like it 🧡👑🦁
